Our family of four just got back from a wonderful week at Seacrest Beach with the McNeill clan. We headed down on Saturday and drove back home late Friday night........a full week away! It was great to be away from our day-to-day life and spend some time together and with family.
Our time at the beach consisted of playing in the sand, sitting in the sun, reading, fishing, and eating.......what more could you ask for? I am mad at myself for not getting more pictures.......however, it was so hot, humid, and sticky.....and that made it hard to pull the camera out and get pictures in the sand! So, I may not have many pictures, but I do still have a camera that has NO sand in it! That's worth something.......
Here's Papa and Claire sitting at the water. Claire loved sitting down at the ocean and playing in the water.....and Claire really loves her Papa.....so she was one happy camper! By the time they were done with this each time, they would dump a load of sand out of their swimsuits!
Here's my sweet Chloe-bug. She looks so grown up and tall in her swimsuit and hat!
One day, Uncle Jess dug a HUGE hole and the girls got down in there and played for quite some time. I kept trying to get a picture that would show how deep the hole really was.......not sure if this does it justice, but at least you get the idea.
Snack/lunch time! I'm quite certain that they ate as much sand as they did food! Oh well!
The girls also enjoyed this boat that stays at Papa and Reesie's river house. They had lots of fun the day that Daddy and Papa took them out in the ocean for a ride!
