Here is a quick video to show Claire's progress so Grandma and Grandpa are not too surprised next week when we get to their house.

Fun or Torture......you decide!

Some days when the girls wake up or when Claire gets up from her nap, I let Chloe sit in the crib with Claire and they play for a few minutes. They both giggle and enjoy themselves. This particular morning, Chloe had been playing with her "fancy" shoes and jewelry while Claire was napping. When Claire woke up, I let Chloe play in the crib for a couple of minutes. They were having fun and since they can't go anywhere, I ran to the living room to do something. I heard Chloe start laughing really hard and this is what I found......Chloe had clipped her earring on Claire's ears and they were both so proud of themselves!!

Egg hunting in the backyard

Easter 2009

I just realized that I never put any pictures from Easter on the blog! So, I'm sorry for the delay. Although it feels like Easter was a month ago, I realized today that it was just last Sunday........wow, it was a busy week! Here are a few pictures of our day. We went to church on Sunday morning and celebrated the fact that the tomb was empty and that Jesus is still alive today! Then we came home to get the girls a good nap so that they would be ready when our company arrived in the late afternoon. Reesie, Papa, Gran, Ma, Pa, Megan, and Chuck all came and had dinner at our house. Kevin and Chloe colored eggs when she woke up and then Kevin and my dad hid them for Chloe to find......she had a blast! I'll use another post to share some of those pictures.

Masters Week at the Kilgores

Claire learning about golfing.....

You can see that the Masters is on the TV.

Okay Daddy.....I think I'm ready!

Around our house, we're playing a lot of golf in celebration of Masters week. We'll probably be tuned in to Magnolia Lane and the Amen Corner most of the weekend. I'm cheering for Tiger.......how about you?

"Pilly-tails"

This afternoon, we were getting ready to head back to church and Chloe said that she wanted 2 ponytails. So, I asked her if she wanted one on each side (thinking that she would say no) and she replied, "sure!" We headed off to the bathroom to give the girl some pigtails! She kept saying ouch as I pulled her hair into pigtails. Then we got the hairbows and she was all set. She was SO EXCITED! It made us late to church, but she was thrilled with her "new do" and was excited about showing Daddy. By the time we got home from church tonight, she was calling them her "pilly-tails." How cute! If this trend sticks around, I guess I'll be buying some more hairbows so that we have two of some colors! Girls are so much fun!

Chloe's First Easter Egg Hunt

Can we please go outside to hunt eggs now?

If you'll notice, she really liked the purple eggs the best!

Such a big girl.

Showing off her loot! Each kid was supposed to find 6 eggs.

Our sweet Chloe......April 2009......2 1/2 years old

Today was Chloe's Easter party and egg hunt at school. She was so excited! I had explained to her yesterday what an Easter egg hunt was and what she would do at school today. So she was ready! She had fun and was such a big girl. She was very excited when Mommy, Daddy, and Claire walked into her classroom to celebrate with her. Happy Easter!

Hilton Head 2009

I know, I know.........it's a lot of pictures! But how do you choose? I mean, we have an awesome camera and 2 ADORABLE kids as subjects for photos!

We spent a couple of nights over in Hilton Head last week. Kevin's parents bought into Marriott Vacation Club last year and purchased a week over at Hilton Head at the Barony Bay Resort. They were there all of last week with Kevin's sister, Kara, and her kids. They asked us to join them for a couple of nights at the end of the trip and of course, we said yes! The resort is great and has indoor and outdoor heated pools. There is also a really great playground on one part of the island that Chloe has enjoyed for two years now.

We really enjoyed the couple of nights over there. It was a good getaway! Thanks to Gary and Beth, Mom and Dad, or Grandma and Grandpa........they are called all of the above at our house! We had a great time!
