The Football Field was cool, but....

...Chloe really thought the water fountain was the most exciting part of our trip to Troy University today! We are over in Troy, AL visiting Aunt Megan and Uncle Chuck (my sister and bro-in-law). We came over yesterday (Wed) and are heading out in the morning (Fri). This was the first stop on our trip.....the second stop is Americus. Kevin is in Minnesota with a group from the church, so us girls took to the road!

Our trip to Troy has been special for a couple of reasons. This is the first time we've been able to visit Megan and Chuck here and see their new home. It's also the first time we've seen them since Christmas.....gasp! And, last but certainly not least.....today was Chuck's birthday and we were able to celebrate with him! We went to his office right before lunch and he showed us around the football stadium. It was very impressive, and I'm hoping that Kevin and I can squeeze in a trip to a football game this fall. Our last stop on campus was the water fountain that our resident princess had spotted, then it was on to Zaxby's per the birthday boy for lunch! What a fun day!

Happy Birthday, Uncle Chuck! Thanks for letting us share a couple of days with you both!

Chloe's Camera

Chloe got this camera for Christmas. Isn't it cute? It has been a fabulous gift! Occasionally, we'll be snapping a picture of something and she'll go and grab her camera and be right behind us! The other day, she tried to take a picture and it wouldn't take. Turns out, the camera was full and we needed to download the pictures. So....I took a deep breath, closed one eye, and connected the camera to my computer. Well, 299 pictures later...........here are a few for you to enjoy.......I have 295 more if you'd like to see them!

A Taste of Spring

This afternoon was beautiful! The girls and I went outside for a little while after their naps and they had so much fun. I think that we are all ready for Spring to arrive! After all, it's now March and it should be getting warm in South Georgia! Somehow, Mother Nature hasn't gotten the memo quite yet.....it's supposed to be rainy with a high of 49 tomorrow.....sigh.
