Kevin might hate me for this, but I couldn't resist snapping this picture on Sunday afternoon. I thought it was quite appropriate considering all the pink in his life! This is one of the new blankets off of the girls' beds. The seamstress made them quite a bit bigger than my mom anticipated, so they are actually a great size for an adult to use! And they are so soft! Chloe had been in the chair with Kevin, had gotten up, and left him there with her blanket.
I have heard people say that they felt like certain men were just called to be daddies to girls, because it took a special person. I'm so thankful for Kevin.....he's such a good Daddy to our girls! I am consistently blessed as I witness him living out God's calling on his life as a daddy, a husband, a pastor, and the "king of our castle!"

The Finished Product
I still need to find a lampshade......there are only so many places in Tifton that you can look!
The seamstress did an amazing job on the pillows......lots of little details and creativity that really make them fun!
I am so thankful to have this behind me! I've already started going through some things in the nursery and have started to wash the bedding! We're counting down to Baby Caitlyn's arrival!

Bedtime Prayers
I am so blessed to be their Mommy. As I've said before, it is the most challenging and rewarding thing I've ever done!

Mega Diaper Deal!

This deal was just too good not to talk about.....even Kevin thought I should blog about this! :)
I keep up with a couple of savings websites.............MoneySaving Mom and Hip2Save. They both have coupon/deal scenarios for all of the major chain stores as well as countless numbers of individual deals from all sorts of retailers. I caught wind of one such deal last week and began to work on it. What you see above, is my order summary from my most recent Amazon order. (I say most recent because Amazon has become my favorite website to visit! But that's another post!) I ordered an Economy Plus box of Size 1 Pampers for Baby Caitlyn.......$41.49. This was the current sale price on Amazon. I then signed up for Amazon's Subscribe and Save program, which gave me the first discount. I then entered 20% coupons from my August and September issues of Parents Magazine. Lastly, I used a coupon off of Amazon's coupon page. With all the discounts, total was $10.94!!!! I just got 216 Pampers diapers for less than $11!!!! And I forgot to mention that they will be delivered right to my door with free 2-day shipping!
Does it make me a sick person to be this excited over a diaper deal? :)

A Captured Moment
On the rare occasion, I find this little one still. This was one of those moments, and I couldn't help but grab my camera off of the counter to capture it. This little bundle of energy is getting to be such a big girl. She is so funny and I quite often have to wipe smirks off of my face in order to discipline or correct! She keeps us laughing! I have prayed many times over her at night that God would give her all that she needs to be the middle girl child with grace. I love her so much!

28 Weeks and Her Name
Well, here we are at 28 weeks......11 more to go (not that I'm counting or anything). I am definately getting ready to hold her in my arms, and NOT in my body! In all likelihood, the next 11 weeks will go by much quicker than it sounds like they will. We have tons of things on our calendar as we start our fall routine.
Now on to the real reason you all are reading......her name. We finally decided.....Kevin and I narrowed the list down and came up with 2 or 3 names that we liked and then we talked to Chloe to see what she thought. We all agreed that her name should be Caitlyn....Caitlyn Ansley Kilgore.
We're all ready to meet sweet little Caitlyn.....we even pulled down some baby clothes this weekend and the girls got so excited. Until her birth day arrives, we're waiting and praying that Baby Caitlyn will grown big and strong in Mommy's tummy!

Girls' Room Redo - Part 2
I've been working on painting Claire's bed. When Chloe moved into big girl furniture, we got one of these twin beds down out of the attic and the dresser that matched and I worked to paint them for her. These beds were the twin beds that Kevin's dad and uncle slept on when they were kids. So far, Kevin has sanded it twice and I've put two coats of paint on it. I'm hoping to get two more coats of paint and be done!
After much searching and MANY nights on bedding websites, I finally gave up and headed to a couple of fabric stores nearby. Here's your sneak peak.......the finished product should be oh so cute and oh so girly......I'm so excited!! My mom delivered the fabric to the seamstress today, so now we wait!
And here's another sneak peak.........those are lime green sheets with white polka dots on the left and a white matelasse coverlet on the right.
