Meet Baby "C"

Well, it's way past time for me to introduce you to our third baby girl! I'm calling her Baby "C", not because we have a name that we're keeping secret, but because we have no idea what we're going to name her........other than we have lots of things with a "C" already on them so why not go for round 3?

This week marked Week 22 for me and her......over half way! This picture should serve as a warning for all of you out there.......this is what happens when you get yourself pregnant 3 times in 4 years! This third time around, I look like I'm going to deliver any day! I dread people asking me when my due date is. It's like a game......they pop the question, I shock them with the answer, and then they try to compose themselves so that their eyes don't bulge in disbelief. Oh.....and this is all the while I have my almost 2 and almost 4 year olds in tow. The whole scenario kind of makes me chuckle! However, I wouldn't have it any other way!

I just told Kevin tonight that I catch myself getting excited about having another baby around. When I was pregnant with Claire, I didn't have time to savor those thoughts.........they were overshadowed by the questions of how I would divide my love and time between two children. This time around, that's not a question. I've decided that's one of the many blessings and miracles of being a mommy....experiencing the feeling of a heart, multiplied with unconditional love for all her children.

So there you have it......I'm excited about having a third little blessing and looking forward to this sweet baby girl's arrival!
