Game Day.......finally!

Well, it's Kevin's favorite time of year.....football season! And I always seem to pick this time of year to have babies and be stuck at home in front of the TV with him! :) He's been telling Chloe for a couple of days that they would watch football on Saturday. So, I thought this picture was worth a thousand words.........the only way Daddy will watch football this year is if he invites Chloe and all her babies! He's such a good daddy to our girls! He did at least have Chloe saying "Go Blue" to Grandpa on the phone by the end of the day!

Three weeks and counting.........

Well, I went to the doctor this morning and had an uneventful, but good, visit. I'm still measuring ahead of schedule, but the ultrasound showed that my fluid levels are good and that Baby Claire is almost to 8 lbs now! Because everything looks good, there is no reason to move our c-section date. Looks like Baby Claire will still arrive on September 10th! Please continue to pray for my energy levels and for me to feel good for Chloe over these last three weeks!

Claire Elizabeth

I thought that I should put some new pregnant pictures up as we await the arrival of Baby Claire in a few weeks. I go to the doctor again next week so I will have another update then......as for now, we're just getting ready and waiting! These pictures are taken at almost 35 weeks pregnant.

Chloe's First Day of "School"

Our church has a preschool and they offer a 1-year-old class. Kevin and I decided a while back that we thought Chloe would enjoy going to "school" one day a week. With the arrival of her baby sister in a few weeks, this gives her something special to do that is just hers. She will be riding to work with Daddy on Wednesdays and staying from 9am-12noon at the church. There are about 6 or 7 other kids in her class and most of them are friends from church. She was so excited this morning!

Waiting on Baby.......

Tomorrow marks 4 weeks until our scheduled c-section on September 10th! We're getting very ready to welcome our second baby girl into our family and are anxious to embrace life as a family of four. I went to the doctor last Wednesday and was measuring several weeks ahead of where I should be (surprise!), so my doctor decided to do an ultrasound. I was excited since we hadn't seen the baby in about 12 weeks. Turns out, I couldn't see much of this baby because she was so big already!!! At the time of the ultrasound, they estimated that she weighed 7lbs, 6ozs!!! So......I think it's official that we make HUGE babies! I think this little girl will bypass her sister's weight of 9lbs, 6ozs! I go back to the doctor next Wednesday, the 20th, and will update with any news or progress. As for now, she's still coming on September 10th!

I'm going to include a few pictures in this post of the shower that the ladies at the church so graciously hosted on August 2nd. We are so thankful for our church family and for how much they love us!

Here I am at 33 weeks.....

Fridays are Fun!

Here at the Kilgore household, we love Fridays! For those of you who don't know, Kevin's work week is from Sunday to Thursday......so he has Fridays off! Chloe and I love having him at home on Fridays. I'm not sure what makes Friday so wonderful other than having the time together as a family. Kevin and I love being together and doing things together as a family. Chloe LOVES it on Fridays when she gets up and find out that Daddy doesn't go to work today. Here recently, our life has been pretty hectic and promises to stay that way for the next few weeks! So, when we had a Friday at home a couple of weeks ago, we all enjoyed it. I snapped some pictures throughout the day and thought I'd share them with you.
