Hold onto your hats.......there's lots of catching up to do!

Isn't this the cutest picture you've seen in a while? This was my three most favorite people just hanging out on Valentine's morning.

We've had lots going on over the last few weeks. The next few posts should catch you up a little bit. In other news, we've been a little under the weather lately.......I have had "the crud" and spent a couple of nights with fever and sore throat. I took both of the girls to the doctor yesterday. Turns out that Claire just has "the crud" like me and Kevin, but Chloe has another ear infection and more croup in her chest. She and I are both on antibiotics and steroids. She is also back to her breathing treatments. Pray that we all can get well and get back to a more normal routine at home. I am tired of being in doctor's offices and Kevin is tired of paying them!

Hopefully, there won't be so much time between posts now. Thanks for reading..............

Chloe - 2 years 4 months

This is who we answer to now.....Princess Chloe! She got this crown, the earrings, and ring for Valentine's Day. She asked me the other morning where her ring was and then said, "I know it's round here somewhere!"

She is growing up so fast and turning into a big girl! She has been getting taller and taller......all of her pants have gotten too short!

Here is Chloe one morning playing with her kitchen in her jammies.

Chloe is such a good big sister! She loves to have Claire sit in her chair with her. They sometimes sit this way and watch Chloe's new favorite TV show........Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! This particular morning, Chloe was reading her Mickey Mouse book to Claire. She is still going to school at the church one morning a week. She always looks forward to riding with Daddy to school and listening to Rick and Bubba on the way! She is constantly filling us in on the most current happenings with her friends or with her baby dolls! She says the blessing now at most of our meals and helps us pray at night. We are daily amazed at how much she knows! One of these days, I'm going to video tape our day and then you'll all understand where our smiles come from!

Claire - 5 months

Our sweet little Claire.......she loves being on her tummy and is quite the little roly-poly!

Who could resist that sweet face?

Claire loves her big sister and always is happy when she's near her.

Claire got her first bites of some cereal over the weekend......she did pretty good. I will probably keep introducing it to her over the next few weeks as she starts to get the hang of eating more solid food.

Claire turned 5 months old on the 10th of this month. It's hard to believe that 5 months have passed by so quickly! She is such a sweet baby and she is so much fun. She's getting to the point that she is very responsive and pays close attention to who is in the room with her and where we are all going. She absolutely adores Chloe......no matter what is going on ,Chloe can always make her smile. I think that she has a crush on her Daddy too! When he walks into the room, she will focus on him and watch him walk all over the room and just grin. And of course, I'm her food source so she's never disappointed if I come around! Ha! I will say that she is much more of a "mommy's girl" than I remember Chloe being at this point. If Claire gets really mad (which is rare), she often doesn't let anyone else calm her down. However, we've witnessed her turn it right off when I picked her up......unbelievable! It will be interesting to see how that turns out over the next few months! As for now, we are having so much fun with her and will probably be able to report about her sitting up on her own soon!

A trip to Orlando with Grandma and Grandpa

Kevin's parents left home a couple of weeks ago for about a 3-week trip down to Florida to visit friends and board a big ole' cruise ship for part of their time. (Tough life huh?) As you all know, Georgia is right in the way of that drive from Indianapolis to Florida so they have been planning on laying over here to see us........they really wanted to see Chloe and Claire! :) They also invited us to join them for the first few days of their trip and come to Orlando for a little "R & R." We gladly accepted the invite and spent Thursday through Saturday doing a little golfing, a little shopping, and lots of avoiding the "land of the mouse" as I've heard it deemed. Oh....we also did lots of eating too! :) We did manage to get over to Downtown Disney on Saturday morning and spend a couple of hours walking, looking, and having lunch. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! Here are a few pictures.............

We finally talked Chloe into riding this carousal and then she wouldn't ride a horse!

Here is Mommy and Claire with Daisy and Donald.

We looked all through this huge Disney store for Daisy and finally found her!

Grandpa and Chloe being silly!

Mommy, Chloe, and Cinderella.......three princesses! :)
