Chloe Goes to Dance!

The day finally came.....the day that Chloe said was more exciting than her birthday......her first day of dance! Who knew my little pink princess would be so excited? Okay.....I guess I expected her anticipation to be great, but it was still so cute and funny to watch!

Gran (my grandmother and Chloe's great-grandmother) is treating Chloe to dancing lessons this year. Chloe is in a 4 year old class that meets for 45 minutes on Monday afternoons. For now, they are just doing ballet. However, after Christmas, they get to do tap as well. The first day was last Monday, the 13th. To say that this little one had fun would be a huge understatement! She pranced right in and came out 45 minutes later just beaming! Claire and I were able to catch glimpses of the class every now and then through a small window. When we got in the car to head home, Chloe exclaimed, "I had SO MUCH fun, Mom!" So, this experience was so cool to her that it warranted calling me "Mom" instead of "Mommy!"

Much to her Daddy's dismay, we may have a lifetime dancer in Chloe. I took dance from the time I was 5 until I graduated highschool! My dad has already laughed at how many dance recitals Kevin will attend......and my mom is already laughing because my dad will soon be doing what he swore he'd never do again......attend a dance recital!
